Job Summary:
The Technical Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects using an AI-driven approach to project management. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets while leveraging AI tools and methodologies to optimize processes and outcomes. The position bridges technical teams and stakeholders, managing resources, risks, and communication to deliver high-quality results.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones using AI-driven project management tools for predictive analytics and optimization.
Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and QA specialists, fostering collaboration and utilizing AI insights to enhance team performance.
Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on technical requirements, feasibility, and architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and integrating AI-driven solutions where applicable.
AI-Driven Project Management: Leverage AI tools for resource allocation, risk assessment, schedule optimization, and progress tracking to improve project efficiency and decision-making.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks using AI-powered predictive models to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear, data-driven updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes derived from AI analytics.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively using AI-based forecasting, manage budgets, and ensure optimal use of tools and technologies.
Process Improvement: Implement and refine AI-enhanced project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to streamline workflows and boost delivery efficiency.
Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards through AI-supported testing, validation, and performance evaluation processes.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field/ MCA and MBA (or any equivalent full-time management program of at least 12 months).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project execution and bid management, including strategy development, organizational transformation, operating model design, business process reengineering, digital transformation, and change management.
At least 3 years of experience managing large-scale projects, with a minimum of 3 end-to-end technical or IT-related projects successfully delivered.
At least 1 year of experience working with Government or Public Sector clients.
Hands-on experience with AI-driven project management tools or methodologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AI-driven project management platforms (e.g., Jira with AI plugins, Monday.com with predictive features, or custom AI tools) and traditional tools (e.g., Trello, MS Project).
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and familiarity with technologies such as cloud platforms, APIs, or databases.
Knowledge of AI concepts and tools for project management, such as predictive analytics, automation, or machine learning-based forecasting.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage complex projects and adapt to evolving priorities with data-driven insights.
Certifications: PMP/PRINCE/ITIL, Agile/Scrum, AI-related credentials (e.g., AI for Project Management) or related equivalent certifications is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
International Experience
Experience applying AI-driven approaches to Agile/Scrum methodologies in technical projects.
Knowledge of DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines, with exposure to AI automation.
Ability to translate AI-driven insights and technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
