Requirements:
Technical knowledge of one or more domains of development data such as social statistics, environment statistics is a must.
Technical knowledge of other domains such as economic statistics, gender and demography is a plus.
Experience and knowledge of methods of data collection, analysis, and dissemination, especially as they relate to economic and social trends. Expertise in time-series data management would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of metadata and familiarity with metadata standards
Proven experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, Stata, R) and survey research methodologies.
Experience in preparing industry outlooks, forecasts, and reports based on statistical and survey data.
Qualification:
Masters degree in Statistics/Applied Statistics
Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in a government statistical role or similar, understanding both State and Central Statistical systems
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data trends.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
