Requirements-
Strong hands-on skills in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large volumes of data using distributed computing platforms, experience with at least one major cloud platform - Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Deep understanding of distributed computing concepts and methods.
Demonstrated knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with other data engineering tools and platforms is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in setting up and monitoring data pipelines in real-time environments.
Knowledge of other programming languages and tools commonly used in data engineering (e.g., SQL, Kafka, Airflow).
Understanding of best practices in data governance, data security, and data lifecycle management.
Analytical Skills: Experience in analyzing complex problems and translating them to data science algorithms with due attention to computational efficiency and testing at scale.
Qualification
3-6 years of practical experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role, primarily concentrated on on-premises solutions. Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. master’s degree is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
