Job Title– Public Finance Management
Area - Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF)
Minimum Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Public Financial Management (PFM)/ Government Budgeting/ MTEF/ macro-fiscal analysis/ Planning/ Policy formulation at State/ Central level in India or in international contexts (ministries of finance/ planning, or donorfunded projects)
Knowledge of Programbased budgeting, performance measurement, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), gender/ climate budgeting
Knowledge of government budgetcycles in India, FRBM, OOMF of NITI Aayog
Awareness of International standards and diagnostics, e.g., IMF macrofiscal practices, World Bank MTEF guidance, PEFA performance indicators, OECD budgeting principles etc.
Good to Have
Worked on reform programs funded by World Bank, ADB, DFID/FCDO, EU, UNDP or similar
Engagements in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh or comparable states or international ministries of finance
Experience with climate tagging, gender budgeting, and results frameworks linked to SDGs
Qualification
Master’s in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Statistics, Commerce, or related field or MBA or CA. (Bachelor’s with strong evidence of relevant experience may be considered.)
