ERP expert & Data Analyst Job Duties
ERP expert & Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Responsibilities
ERP System Management
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the ERP system to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and data accuracy.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide business insights, generate reports (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual), and help make data-driven decisions.
Process Improvement
Analyze and understand business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend system enhancements.
User Support and Training
Provide technical support to end-users, train them on ERP functionalities, and document system configurations and user guides.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with other departments and stakeholders to gather requirements, implement system upgrades, and ensure the ERP system meets business needs.
Data Integrity and Migration
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system. Assist with data migration between the ERP and other applications as needed.
Project Coordination:
Participate in project management, coordinate system upgrades and patches, and manage system testing and quality assurance.
Skills and qualifications
Technical Skills
Proficiency in ERP systems LSQ, Edumartial, SQL, and data analysis tools such as Python, R, Excel, and Google Analytics.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to identify problems and devise solutions.
Business Acumen
Understanding of business processes, operations, marketing, and finance to align the ERP system with company goals.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical information clearly, and provide training.
Project Management Skills
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks and manage time effectively.
Proven working experience as a ERP Expert & Data Analyst or Business Data Analysis
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Power BI, SAS etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
