Technical Consultant – Water Sector
Level: Associate Consultant - Assistant Manager Location: Delhi Education: BTech / MTech in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering + MBA (Preferred from top-tier institutions) Experience: 3–10 years
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical advisory engagements in the water and sanitation sector for government clients.
Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, and techno-economic assessments for urban and rural water supply, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
Provide subject matter expertise on water infrastructure planning, hydraulic design, NRW reduction, and smart water systems.
Support digital transformation initiatives including SCADA, GIS, IoT-based monitoring, and asset management systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering, policy, and digital solutions.
Engage with stakeholders across ULBs, state departments, and multilateral agencies for project planning, implementation, and monitoring.
Draft high-quality reports, presentations, and technical documentation for senior government stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of national water programs such as Jal Jeevan Mission, AMRUT, and Swachh Bharat Mission.
Experience in hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., EPANET, WaterGEMS), GIS platforms, and smart metering technologies.
Familiarity with public procurement processes, EPC contracts, and PPP frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
Prior experience in consulting or working with government agencies is highly desirable.
