Job Description: Drone Specialist
Experience: Minimum 8 years in drone data processing and applications
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Drone Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in projects involving but not limited to drone based data collection and operations. The candidate should be proficient in using drone image processing software like Pix4D, Drone2Mapand ArcGIS for generating high-resolution maps and models. This role involves consulting with multiple government departments to envisage and develop innovative drone solutions tailored to their specific needs. The candidate will guide these departments in implementing drone based systems and applications, ensuring data accuracy and providing actionable insights through detailed data analysis and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Plan and envisage solutions for drone operations in multiple sectors
Ensure compliance to regulations and safety standards.
Assist the client in arriving at projected cost estimations and preparing DPRs
Reporting and Documentation:
Create detailed reports and presentations involving drone applications
Document all drone operations and data processing activities.
Client Engagement:
Conduct proofs-of-concept and solution demonstrations to illustrate the benefits of drone applications.
Develop and implement detailed success plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in drone data processing and applications.
Proficiency in drone operation and data processing software (e.g., Pix4D, DroneDeploy, ArcGIS).
Strong understanding of drone application (not just limited to image processing) in various sectors
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for drone operations in India.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of GIS and Image processing software
Ability to work in diverse environments
Experience in data process automation using tools like Model Builder and Python scripts.
