Job Title – Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with diverse stakeholder groups to capture functional and non-functional needs
Translate business needs into BRDs, process flows, and user stories for development teams working on microservices-based architectures
Analyze existing platforms, identify overlaps, redundancies, and opportunities for consolidation into unified digital ecosystems
Map detailed workflows for core modules such as beneficiary/user management, service lifecycle management, grievance redressal, inspection processes, and system integrations
Define acceptance criteria, data validation rules, and reporting metrics for KPIs and dashboards
Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure wireframes, mockups, and layouts reflect user requirements and accessibility guidelines (GIGW 3.0, WCAG 2.1)
Work with technical architects and integration teams to validate API specifications, authentication flows, and RBAC configurations
Support data mapping and migration plans involving relational, NoSQL, and search-indexing databases
Ensure AI-powered tools (e.g., OCR for document verification, NLP for chatbot responses, analytics automation) are effectively aligned with business logic and user needs
Participate in UAT cycles, develop test scenarios from business requirements, and validate system outputs against expectations
Document SOPs, training materials, and knowledge transfer content for end-user adoption
Track requirement changes, maintain traceability matrices, and ensure alignment with project governance processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
5–8 years of experience in business analysis for large-scale IT projects
Strong skills in requirement elicitation, business process modeling (BPMN), and documentation standards
Experience working with microservices, API integrations, and data migration projects
Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, containerized deployments, and DevSecOps workflows
Understanding of relational and NoSQL data structures, as well as search indexing technologies
Knowledge of accessibility, compliance, and security frameworks relevant to public digital platforms (GIGW 3.0, WCAG 2.1, CERT-In)
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, MS Visio, and AI-powered documentation aids (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
Good to have certification: IIBA-CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification, ITIL Foundation Certification
